Group Meeting
On Thursday 19th June, Colwyn Bay WI hosted the annual group meeting. There was a great turn out for the 'Beside the seaside' themed event, 80 people attended from six WIs in the Clwyd-Denbigh Federation.

We had speakers, music from a talented organist, decorated stone competition, raffle, quiz, afternoon tea and a best dressed pirate competition (of course). Topped off with an ice cream too.

Table decorations, bunting, origami boats and hangings were handmade by the Colwyn Bay WI craft group who have toiled away creating for months.

In support of the WI Campaign of Clean Rivers for humans and wildlife, back in May 2024, some of our members visited the Welsh Water treatment plant, Canol, locally. They were able to see how our water is treated, using biological processes.
